The SIME Non-Profit Summit was a, by invitation only, two day summit that was open for non profit organizations and social entrepreneurs, held as a parallel track to the SIME Stockholm Conference. People working to change the world were invited to listen to the SIME main stage sessions as well as to knowledge sharing workshops designed to give new insights, tools, relationships and hands-on advice. Following a long tradition of celebrating outstanding achievements in the digital space we are proud to once again present the SIME Awards under the following categories. SIME Grand Prize for excellence and leadership in the digital arena that has created impact, SIME Entrepreneur of the year for the individual or the organization that through innovation, guts and insights broken new ground. In addition we had the SIME Nonprofit Award awarded to an organization or individual in the nonprofit sector that has leveraged the power of technology and digital media to improve the lives of other people. SIME for the second year in row is very proud to organize the Polar Music Sessions, the knowledge sharing event to be held in conjunction with the prestigious Polar Music Prize on August 30. SIME Amsterdam held on May 25th brought together leading international thought leaders and local movers and shakers for a 1 day journey on digital opportunities.
